Cardio Kickboxing! Anyone can do it!

On Thursday night, I decided to try my local cardio kickboxing class. I walked in and saw people of all ages, shapes and sizes and thought, hey, if they can do it, so can I. To my right were two ladies in their mid 60's, one who made me laugh the entire time because of how off beat she was moving, but none the less, workout hard the entire time. I had never taken this kind of class before so I had no idea what to expect. It was really easy to follow along and you can definitely modify any of the moves at any time if you get tired (and I did at least half the class). I made 10 minutes into the class and think, "It's only been 10 minutes? You know that moment where you wish maybe you hadn't been so ambitious and then realize you have no way out of the room?. Then the burn turned to a kick ass feeling as we moved into all of the kickboxing moves. I had an awesome time. I am super sore and apparently I have muscles in my back I never knew I had because they are REALLY sore, but the good kind of sore. Like I can't wait to go back next week and do it again kind of sore so I can get in really great shape -  and quick. I hope this inspires you to take one of these classes. At least try it once so you can watch all of the funny people and get a great workout at the same time. Hang at the back if you need to, no one judges.
